P. 3
I was attending my father’s Spiritualist Church in
a place called Dawley near Telford, and the church is built
on the grounds of a ruined monastry.
I was introduced some years ago and overheard someone
saying “Human’s don’t have a soul or spirit, but we are
the spirit and soul who inherit a body.
We are here to have the experience of being human and
being on the earth. This is our story, as being the eternal
travellers in space and time.
We are born and at a precise moment in time a soul can
inherit a body. In many religous and philosophical
traditions, the soul is the non-material essence of a person
that never dies or can be destroyed.
It includes one’s identity, personality and memories.
The concept of the soul is generally applied to humans,
although it can be applied to other living or even non-living
entities.
The statement, and I don’t know who said it, or where
it came from answered many questions for me. As a
follower of science and understanding, the statement
answered all my questions.
